Hello, I’m Caroline. I’m the founder and owner of Caroline’s Cakes based in Chapel Allerton, North Leeds. I love creating high-quality cakes to be enjoyed by people of all ages.
I learnt the art of traditional baking from my gran, and have been making cakes for friends, family and work colleagues for over 20 years. After years spent developing skills, trying new flavours, and creating edible designs, the time was right to turn my passion into a business reality. In 2014, Caroline’s Cakes was born.
Our growth has been exceptional, and I’m delighted to have an incredible team of associate bakers working alongside me. Together, we create treats for all occasions for people, like me, who enjoy that little taste of indulgence.
At Caroline’s Cakes, we specialise in traditional sponge cakes, traybakes and cookies for business meetings and events, and personal celebrations. We take bespoke orders for special occasions, such as weddings, birthdays and christenings, provide branded, corporate cakes to market your business, and even send brownies by post to say a special ‘thank you’.
I’m recognised as one of the top three cake makers in Leeds, as listed by ThreeBestRated.co.uk, and was awarded first prize in the Great British Food Festival 2014 at Harewood House for my traditional Victoria Sponge.
I’m incredibly proud to receive lovely feedback, repeat business, and industry recognition. Why not taste our creations for yourself? You’ll find Caroline’s Cakes in a range of local Leeds cafés, or take a look at the gallery to tempt your taste buds.
